CPC Hosts The CCBHC Training Academy

CPC Integrated Health recently hosted a CCBHC Training Academy, led by Donna Coyle, Senior Chief Clinical Officer, and Julie Edwards, Medical Director of Integrated Care. Over 100 clinicians, case workers, and peer advocates attended the event, which focused on the integrated care philosophy of the CCBHC model and its positive impact on client outcomes. The agenda highlighted key themes of integration and collaboration, emphasizing how each staff member contributes to delivering high-quality, whole-person care. Participants engaged in presentations, group discussions, case studies, role-playing exercises, and fun activities like “CCBHC Bingo.” The event, held at the Red Bank Elks Lodge with views of the Navesink River, included a refreshing self-care break courtesy of Phoenix Yoga.

CPC Integrated Health is proud to be nearing its eighth year as a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC). In 2017, we partnered with the federal government to pioneer efforts that significantly improved outcomes for clients facing serious mental health and substance use challenges. As one of the original Nationwide demonstration sites, CPC was instrumental in establishing the CCBHC model which is now widely adopted across the United States for its proven impact on care.
