High Point School

High Point School is a State of New Jersey approved, private non-profit school for students with disabilities.

Our Philosophy

We prepare each child for a healthy, meaningful and connected life in their community. Our approach is individualized and caring, and our school environment is inclusive. Meeting each child where they are academically, emotionally and socially, we are dedicated to understanding each child’s interests and personal goals–so that together with their family–we can provide support and guidance, while instilling self-confidence in their life journey.

How High Point Students Succeed

Our collaborative and integrated approach helps High Point students succeed. With a shared set of goals that are meaningful to the child and family, we create a trusting environment so that students feel safe, understood, and confident to forge their own unique path.

1.

We value students

Every child deserves to feel heard, understood, and valued. We respect each child and family’s vision for success and meet their needs—academically and socially.

2.

We are flexible

and supportive

We adapt to every child’s needs and learning styles. Our school community develops strong relationships with each child and their family to find solutions that ensure supportive learning environments.

3.

We provide academics
and specialized supports

We help students thrive in a non-traditional school setting, with specialized support and unique opportunities to grow and discover their own potential. Our team includes psychiatrists, nurses, social workers and occupational and speech therapists. Together we ensure a supported and safe academic experience.
